Goal Oriented Fitness

Goal oriented fitness  We all set goals in the beginning of the year and I am no exception to this trend. I’ve always been a huge proponent of developing habits to increase focus, productivity, and overall wellbeing. Most of these habits, I’ve found, have a foundation in fitness and being physically active. I’ve trained, exercised, and worked with personal trainers for years and have developed this into my daily routine, where I don’t even think about it now. This 2024 goal-centric period is a great way to reset and map out these fitness goals as they drive growth in all areas. I am planning to compete in my first competition so mapping out exactly these fitness goals each day, week and month are critical, but it also provide me the clarity I need. These types of goal mapping, with strategy and clarity spelled out, are a great way towards success. What goals and performance habits are you looking to build this year?

Creating systems drive outcomes

Create the routines that drive outcomes I believe in systems and creating a network of routines and daily habits that drive your goals and performance outcomes. To be a high-performing individual you must adopt these principles daily. The systems you set should be aligned with your goals and you shouldn’t deviate from the path you set forth. If you want to drive fitness in your life, create the daily habits that align with being a physically active and healthy person: Wake up earlier Hydrate before caffeine  Workout in the AM Track your food  Eat for your goal Stretch, rest, and recover Focus and mindset preparation for the lifting session Reflect on your progress All of these items including following a diet, day after day will create the system and habits to drive this high-performing outcome. These skills can then be transferred to other growth areas of your life, be it your career and relationships. It all starts with having a goal and a focused mindset. Keep pushin...

Such a journey is not merely about breaking old patterns; it's about reshaping our mindset and allowing our bodies to adapt to the change. ### Week 1: The Struggle Begins The first week is akin to stepping into uncharted territory. The allure of the familiar beckons, but the desire for change propels us forward. We grapple with resistance and temptation, battling against the inertia of our old habits. Yet, amidst the struggle, there's a glimmer of hope—a flicker of determination to persevere. ### Week 2: Finding Momentum As we transition into the second week, a sense of momentum begin...
